Down the main avenue in Cozumel, Mexico just a few blocks from the cruise port, you find a series of amazing statues looking out across the Caribbean Sea to the mainland of Mexico.

There’s an extra dose of magic coming to the Disney Magic, when the Disney Cruise Line vessel undergoes dry dock Sept. 7-Oct. 10, 2013 in Cadiz, Spain.

Here are highlights of the ship’s itineraries following dry dock:

Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Miami (Oct.-Dec. 2013)

Following the “reimagineering” transformation of the ship that takes place during dry dock, the Disney Magic will depart Oct. 20 from Miami on a special five-night voyage including two stops at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, and a stop at Nassau.

This first cruise after dry dock sets the stage for a schedule of two-, three-, four- and five-night cruises from Miami to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
