Evil Comes Out To Play At Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens

This fall, for select nights, Howl-O-Scream 2013 unleashes thirteen evils, to be exact. The Surgeon, Butcher, Psychopath, Clown, Voodoo Queen and their demented friends will torment you through unexpected terrors lurking around every corner, including new houses, all-new scare zones and thrilling live entertainment. They will leave you screaming for more.

Evil Comes Out To Play At Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens

The after-hours Halloween event at the Tampa theme park is themed around 13 evils incorporated into its haunted houses and scare zones.

The Haunted Houses for 2013

Death Water Bayou

Death Water Bayou – Deep in the bayou the #6 Voodoo Queen mystically transforms lost wanderers into her minions of evil with black magic. Here, her night servants roam with a zombie-like hunger and seek to grow her collection. The darkest evils lurk in shadows. Get out before you fall victim to her spell.

The Basement

The Basement – From Momma’s secret ingredient to Granny’s bone-ground flour, Momma’s Meats’ award-winning recipe has always been a family affair that’s only created in the BASEMENT.  Escape the depths of the BASEMENT before she and #4 Butcher turn you in to the secret sauce! She always said it took blood, sweat and tears!

Circus of Superstition 3-D

Circus of Superstition 3-D – You’ve tried to avoid black cats and sidewalk cracks, but all those years of bad luck caught up with you! The #13 Clown challenges you to survive 13 superstitions in their 3-D Tent of Terror, but it will take more than luck to escape his whole new dimension of fear.

Blood Asylum

Blood Asylum – As lightning rages and thunder crashes outside, “The Creature” escapes from his holding cell in a high-security asylum for the criminally insane.  Now this sadistic deviant is running rampant, skinning his former cellmates and turning the mental hospital into his own torture chamber. This serial killer’s bloody playground will drive you out of your mind with fear.

Nevermore

Nevermore – Beating hearts, swinging pendulums and a raven’s cries haunt the manor of Lenore, creating a demented and twisted nightmare. Step inside to experience the gothic terror that maddens the lord of the house and feel delusion overcome reality. Find your way out of this horror story before paranoia authors your final chapter.

Zombie Mortuary

Zombie Mortuary  – No one remembers how the epidemic started, but now, the #9 Zombie and his undead friends live here. They infest this small town funeral home and feed on the fresh flesh and brains of mortuary mourners to satisfy their insatiable hunger. Avoid the walking dead or you may find yourself deeper than six feet under.

Ultimate Gamble

Ultimate Gamble – Under sleek Vampire reign, the once-vibrant Ultimate Gamble casino glowed. Now werewolves have overthrown their mortal enemies and are running rampant in the casino. The carnivorous beasts have caught on to the scent of fresh blood inside the closed casino. Will you make it out alive before your luck runs out!

The Experiment

The Experiment* – Researchers challenge your fear tolerance and mental endurance in this never-been-done-before Experiment. In this exclusive study, “test subjects” endure psychological tests and must face top fear-inducing elements, from roaches and snakes to needles and darkness. How far is too far in this study of fear? Will you survive The Experiment?

Howl-O-Scream runs for 14 select nights between Sept. 27 and Oct. 26.

Admission is $89, although there are discounts and options including VIP Packages, the Fright Feast dinner buffet, front-of-line passes and multiday passes. For tickets or more information, contact your Kingdom Magic Travel Planner.

*A new reservations-required (and extra charge) experience is The Experiment, which turns guests into psychological studies. They must “face fear-inducing elements, from roaches and snakes to needles and darkness,” according to a Busch Gardens media release. Experimentees must pay Howl-O-Scream admission, then $50 for this house (Additional guests, up to four, for $10 apiece).

How Can You Enjoy a Walt Disney World AND Universal Orlando Vacation?

Until now, when our clients wanted to include a stay at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando transportation took a little extra planning getting from one location to the next and then to the airport, and a little extra money.  Well now the answer is easy!  Universal Orlando introduces a brand new option – the “Meet and Greet Transfer”!

Universal Orlando introduces a brand new option - the “Meet and Greet Transfer"Your  Kingdom Magic Travel Planner can now book an exclusive  “Meet and Greet Transfer” added on to their Universal Vacation Package,  that includes a transfer between Universal and Walt Disney World AND also Orlando International airport – MCO.   This is a perfect answer and at a great price – only $39.00 per person*.

Here is how it works!

Universal Orlando introduces a brand new option - the “Meet and Greet Transfer"!When you fly into Orlando International airport (MCO),  you can choose where you want to start your vacation either Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando.  If you begin with a Walt Disney World package your transfers would be; Disney’s Magical Express to your Disney Resort, then a Meet and Greet Universal transfer via Quick Transportation from your Disney Resort to one of Universal’s onsite Deluxe resorts then to the Orlando International Airport to complete your vacation.  It will work just the opposite if you begin at Universal Orlando!  Simple! Quick, Easy and exclusive!

How Can You Enjoy a Walt Disney World AND Universal Orlando Vacation?

Just a few things to remember:  You need to book a package at a Walt Disney World Resort Property and a Universal Orlando onsite hotel and using the Orlando International Airport (MCO) to be able to utilize the Meet and Greet Transfer.  And don’t forget – it doesn’t matter — Disney First or Universal First — it is up to you!

and Discuss this Great New Option to Make the Most of Your Orlando Vacation!

The Best of Both Worlds

For many of my clients as their children are getting a little older, they have visited Orlando or California numerous times, but they don’t want to give up on going to the theme parks from some of their favorite Orlando or California destinations, they want just a little bit something different.

I am often asked by clients, “What vacation can me and my family take this year?”.  For many of my clients as their children are getting a little older, they have visited Orlando or California numerous times, but they don’t want to give up on going to the theme parks from some of their favorite Orlando or California destinations, they want just a little bit something different. Or maybe they want to take their family to see other parts of the world.   My answer is easy.  A land and sea package.

There are so many options! Some of the more popular Land and Sea packages include Walt Disney World, Disneyland or Universal and Sea World ending the journey on a world class ship sailing from popular ports such as Port Canaveral, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale and Los Angeles.

Consult with your Kingdom Magic Travel Planner to begin planning your land and sea vacation soon

It takes a little coordination, but, that is why you work with a Kingdom Magic Travel Planner.  They can customize your vacation and handle all the details.   Cruises have set sailing dates, where your land portion can be customized to meet your vacation time frame and desired experience.  You can choose between, 3, 4, and 7 night sailings and sometimes cruise lines will have a few 5 night sailings.  Then add your land portion around those dates.

Typically, families like to visit the Theme Parks first then head out to end their vacation aboard the ship.  This way they can get a little relaxation before heading back to their hectic schedules.  Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty to do on the ships.  There is relaxing by the pool, riding the Aqua Duck aboard the Disney Dream or Fantasy, walking the beaches of private islands such as Disney’s Castaway Cay or Royal Caribbean’s Cocco Cay, deck parties and so much more!

Consult with your Kingdom Magic Travel Planner to begin planning your land and sea vacation soon

If visiting a theme park isn’t your thing and you want to explore the world, no worries there are land and sea packages to cover that too!  Alaska, Europe, Asia just to name a few!  It is a great way to explore those destinations you have always wanted to see with a floating hotel room to take you there!  Imagine dreaming about seeing the wonders of Alaska and then having the opportunity to immerse yourself among the beauty for a few days.

The best part of putting together this type of package is that it includes what most families are looking for when planning their vacations; Fun, entertainment, food, somewhere to sleep, relaxation, excellent service and so much more!  Most of your vacation is paid in full prior to departure relieving the stress of a big bill when you return.

Adding a cruise to your vacation package will not disappoint!  And I can guarantee you will not want to come home!

Walt Disney World’s Victoria & Albert’s Awarded AAA Five-Diamond Award for 14th Consecutive Year

Victoria & Albert’s is again one of the country’s finest places to dine, joining just 53 restaurants nationwide who made the AAA Five Diamond list. But Victoria and Albert’s joins an even more elite group of only 10 restaurants in the United States who can claim the privilege of being named for 14 consecutive years.  With 28,000 restaurants approved by AAA, fewer than one-quarter percent achieve this prestigious distinction of just making the Five Diamond list.

Walt Disney World's Victoria & Albert’s Awarded AAA Five-Diamond Award for 14th Consecutive Year

So we must congratulate Chef Scott Hunnel, Master Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek, Maître d’Hôtel Israel Perez and their team for earning the coveted award for the gem of a restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Walt Disney World's Victoria & Albert’s Awarded AAA Five-Diamond Award for 14th Consecutive Year

“Haute cuisine at its best” defines the AAA criteria. Add cutting-edge menus, the finest ingredients and “food prepared in a manner that’s highly imaginative and unique” and you’ve got the extraordinary combination that defines a winner. But beyond the kitchen, the maître d’ must lead an expert service staff “that exceeds guest expectations by attending to every detail in an effortless and unobtrusive manner.”

Victoria & Albert’s wows guests every single night of the year with a fabulous “Contemporary-American” menu and refined touches such as Italian Sambonet silver, fine Royal Doulton and Wedgwood china, and Italian Frette tablecloths (hung, not folded, to avoid creases). Women get a small stool for handbags and a rose to carry home – and if you’re chilly, they’ll offer a cashmere wrap.

The restaurant offers three dining experiences: the dining room, the elegant Queen Victoria’s Room and the Chef’s Table in the kitchen.

Florida Residents Get Much More Than Just All That Sunshine

Florida has long been the hot spot for tourism.  In the early days, only wealthy and famous people could afford to vacation there.  By 1890, the railways were completed and travel to Florida was made easy for people as far away as New York.  Thousands began flooding to the Sunshine state.  Many even decided to build winter homes there.

Florida Residents Get Much More Than Just All That Sunshine

When Americans began to purchase automobiles it offered opportunity for even the average folk to head to the sandy beaches.  Many slept in their own cars and prepared their meals in tin cans, these travelers became known as the “tin-can” tourist.

In the 1930’s, air travel opened the doors to the big boom of visitors to the Miami Beaches. Then in the 1970’s a whole new world opened up when one of the largest resorts in the world opened , Walt Disney World Resort.  Many others followed, such as Universal Studios, Sea World and Cypress Gardens making Florida now one of the most popular Family Destinations in the world.

Florida Residents Get Much More Than Just All That Sunshine

Floridians love tourist and the tourism industry, not only because it is the driving force of their economy, but, because they benefit too!  Many hotels, cruise lines, theme parks offer exceptional savings for Florida residents to help fill up resorts, hotels or ships.  It also gives them the opportunity to give back.  These deals are often last minute, within a few months or weeks of travel, and are at a significant discount.  Theme parks will have Florida resident tickets that may have some block out dates, but still give you a wide range of opportunity to take advantage of the savings.

Florida Residents Get Much More Than Just All That Sunshine

If you live in Florida and ever feel like a weekend get away, maybe on a 3 or 4  night cruise or a few nights at a favorite hotel or theme park —  make sure you always check out our Florida Resident Specials page or just ask one of our Kingdom Magic Travel Planners and they will search out your best deal.

Reduce the Thought of Mealtime with Disney’s Dining Plan

My Disney Card

Disney Dining Plan card (Photo credit: sburke2478)

The family is finally going to have the long-anticipated vacation at one of Disney’s Theme Parks. Now begins the earnest task of arranging tickets, transportation, food and lodging. Something to look into that will make the trip much easier is the Disney Dining Plan, referred to as DDP for short.

The DDP is available at several of the Disney resorts. It’s available for guests booking with Disney Vacation Club points or buying a Magic Your Way Package. True to the promise of ‘your way’, customers can select the dining package of their choice. Couples might prefer spectacular meals, while families often prefer quick, efficient meals.

Imagine the convenience of presenting your key before ordering and having the snacks, quick service and table service meals taken from the pre-loaded credits. Walt Disney World Resort, for example, has over 100 restaurants in the park that qualify for various plans. The server gives a receipt showing how many meals are left, as the amount purchased is by room, not individuals. This is convenient because it allows the group to eat extra if someone wants to skip a meal.

Of special interest is the 12-ounce insulated refillable mug included in the package. Refill it with coffee, tea, Coke products and hot chocolate from the self-service soda fountain at the resort. Make sure someone has a tote bag or backpack to carry the mugs so they aren’t lost. The DDP is a fun plan, although it is important to be aware of the gratuity that may be added to your room charge.

If you are interested in trying the Disney Dining Plan on your next trip,
let your Kingdom Magic Travel Agent know and they can arrange it for you!
