Disneyland
Resort Dining
Dining
The analogy has been made comparing dining in a Disney theme park with eating at
a major international airport. Overpriced food presented to a captive audience
with no apologies offered.
In defense of Disney there has over the years been a considerable improvement in
both the quality and the presentation of the meals being offered in both their
counter service and sit down restaurants. This is particularly true with their
full service restaurants.
Now having said that before you fork over the equivalent of half a week’s food
allowance back home for a single meal may we offer you some advice.
Know the dining options that will be presented to you and choose wisely.
Plan where and when you will eat.
Establish a food budget, but in doing so you must remain realistic and remember
where you are. You may want to simply surrender to the definition of vacation
and reach a little deeper into your pockets then you may normally do. Besides
you can eat at McDonald’s or Denny’s anytime, but when is the last time you had
breakfast, lunch or dinner with Mickey.
