1. Where do I park
when traveling to the Disneyland® Resort? |
| |
There are several parking areas available to our Guests. If you will
be spending a day at Disneyland Theme Parks, day parking is
available in the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. Hourly
parking is available in the Downtown Disney® District Parking Lot
located between the Structure and the Disneyland® Hotel if you plan
on stopping by for a little shopping, dining or entertainment at the
Downtown Disney® District or Disneyland® Resort Hotels. If you are a
Guest of one of the Disneyland® Resort Hotels, each Hotel provides
its own parking area. |

| |
2. How is the
Disneyland® Resort different from Disneyland® park? |
| |
The Disneyland® Resort is comprised of Disneyland® park, Disney's
California Adventure™ park, Downtown Disney® District, and all three
Hotels of the Disneyland® Resort. |
| |
| |
3. When is the best
time to visit the Disneyland® Resort? |
| |
Selecting the "best" time to visit the Disneyland® Resort depends
upon each individual's interests. If you are looking to visit when
the attendance will be fairly low, consider planning your stay
during the middle of the week (Tuesdays-Thursdays) during: September
- November, or January - April. However, during these times of year,
the Theme Parks typically have reduced operating hours and
entertainment events, and attractions closed for refurbishment.
Although the hours and entertainment schedules vary during these
times of year, the attendance is low and Guests are able to
experience more attractions as opposed to holiday/summer periods. If
you are interested in visiting while the Park has extended hours,
entertainment events and all attractions operating, you can plan
your stay for selected weekends (Saturdays/Sundays), extended
holiday weekends, Christmas and Spring Break, or the summer months
June-August. Please be aware however that attendance is usually
increased during these time frames. |

| |
4. Can I visit both
Parks in one day - For instance: Disneyland® park during the day and
Disney's California Adventure™ park in the evening? |
| |
Yes, the Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper ticket is valid for same-day
entry into both Disneyland® & Disney's California Adventure™ Theme
Parks. |
| |
| |
5. What do I pack
when I come to visit the Disneyland® Resort? |
| |
When packing for the Disneyland® Resort always remember to come
prepared for the unexpected. Pack an umbrella, T-shirt, and jacket
just in case the weather suddenly turns wet or unseasonably warm or
cool. Normally, during the summer months, pack light clothing,
shorts, bathing suits, sunscreen, and a light jacket. During the
winter months, pack a heavy jacket, long-sleeved shirts, jeans, and
sweatshirt. |

| |
6. Do any of the
Disneyland® Resort restaurants accommodate special dietary needs? |
| |
The Disneyland® Resort is pleased to offer vegetarian as well as
kosher selections. For those Guests with special dietary needs,
arrangements can be made. Please feel free to contact Food
Operations at (714) 781-7290 for any special requests. |
| |
| |
7. How can my family
enjoy a visit with the Disney Characters? |
| |
The Disney Characters will be scattered throughout the Resort during
your stay. For information on where they will be you may visit any
information center at either of the Theme Parks. The Disneyland®
Resort also offers dining experiences with the Characters. |
| |
| |
8. Now that
Disneyland has two parks, how many days can I expect to see it all?
| |
You may wish to plan about two days for
each Theme Park and one or two nights for Downtown Disney® District.
We recommend 4 days to experience the Disneyland® Resort. |
| |
| |
9. Does Disneyland
pet accommodations available? |
| |
While Disneyland does not permit pets at any of the Disneyland®
Resort Hotels, they do provide a Day Kennel for those Guests who
wish to bring their pets with them to the Disneyland Resort. The
cost is $15.00 per pet, per day. No overnight accommodations are
available. Reservations are unnecessary. |
| |
| |
10. Do you have
foreign currency exchange available at the Disneyland® Resort?
| |
The Disneyland® Resort offers currency exchange through Thomas Cook
Exchange Services. Foreign currency is accepted for purchases
throughout the Resort, and may be exchanged for US dollars at City
Hall in Disneyland® park, Guest Relations at Disney's California
Adventure™ park, or at any of the front desk locations at the
Disneyland® Resort Hotels. |
