Cirque
Du Soleil, La Nouba
This is like no circus that you have ever been to. Cirque Du Soleil is
an avant-garde seamless production that combines circus art, music and theater that
you not only see and hear but also feel. Some nearly 100 performers and
musicians make the impossible seem possible in a style that is all their
own. |
 |
The name La Nouba is derived from the French phrase “faire la nouba,”
which
translated means to party or to live it up. This ensemble of performers
lives it up with such acts as:
- Clowns
- Flying Trapeze
- Aerial
Cradle
- Cycles
- German Wheel
- Balancing Chairs
- Aerial Ballet in Silk
- Diabolos
- High Wire
- Power Track Trampoline

| DisneyQuest is the latest and the newest brand of Disney theme park. In
this simple five-story building Disney has boldly gone where it has only
modestly gone before. A combination of theme park elements, that is to say
environment or theming has join forces with 21st century computer
technology to deliver an adventure that is intended to engage the entire
family. |

|
To think of this as just a large modern arcade would be a mistake.
DisneyQuest is designed very similar to Disney’s other theme parks. Guests
enter through a main plaza called Ventureport. From Ventureport guests can
choose and enter one of the various themed zones. |
 |
The four zones that are there for you to enjoy are:
Explore Zone recognizable from the tiger’s head cave from Disney’s
Aladdin.
Score Zone guests enter through an opening in a giant comic book.
Create Zone a high tech artist’s palette will guide you into this zone.
Replay Zone is an area themed similar to Tomorrowland in the Magic
Kingdom. |
 |
A sampling of the rides and games that await you might include.
Battle for Buccaneer Gold
This attraction is themed after the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction found in
the Magic Kingdom. Guests’ board a pirate ship and must navigate and fire
the cannons.
