Advance Dining Reservations

Advance Dining Reservations are available at
just about all of Disney’s sit down restaurants.
What are Advance Dining Reservations?
Once you arrive at the restaurant, guests with Advance Dining Reservations
will be given the next available table for the number of people in their party.
Waits, even with advance dining reservations, are often as long as thirty
minutes during peak travel times of the year or for the more popular
restaurants,
How do I make Advance Dining Reservations?
When you contact Disney to make an advance dining reservation, your name
and other essential information will be asked of you. The Disney representative
will then inform you that you have a reservation for the restaurant, on the date
and for the time you requested. Take the time to write down the confirmation
number you will be given and take it with you on your trip. In the event that a
mistake was made during the process, this will help in solving a potentially
awkward situation. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort you can
obtain a complete list of all your Advanced Dining Reservations from Guest
Services, upon check-in.

Disney’s Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is the most popular and longest running dinner show
at Walt Disney World. When you call to book this one it will be a true
reservation that will be held by a credit card. Reservations can be made up to 2
years ahead of time! Tables are assigned in the order in which reservations are
made. Shows can sell out during busy times of the year. |

Disney's
Spirit of Aloha (formerly The Polynesian Luau) is a native Polynesian Island show displaying authentic
Polynesian dancing. Although not quite as popular, nor as difficult to secure a
spot as the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue it also will be a true reservation that will
be held by a credit card. Reservations can be made up to 2 years ahead of time!

Here are some simple suggestions concerning priority seating.
If you have been named the designated driver for all things concerning dining on
your trip and you don’t want to disappoint your family or friends, then consider
the following:
Don’t wait to make that call. As soon as the troops have decided on where and
when, go for it. If they change their minds later you can call and cancel or
reschedule if necessary. This is especially true if you will be staying during a
peak vacation time or want a table at a particularly popular restaurant.
Make priority seating for any character meal a must. An extreme example
of why this is necessary would be Cinderella’s Royal Table, located in the
Castle at the Magic Kingdom. This character breakfast will often be completely
booked by 7:30am 90 days out.
If you find that there is no priority seating available for the time you
requested then go for your second choice and try again later for the one you
were really after. Seven to ten days out from the date desired is a good time to
call again. Cancellations occur all the time and if you get lucky just cancel
your back up and enjoy your first choice.
