Donald's Restaurantosaurus

All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet

This was our second time to take in this character breakfast located in Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The first time I had selected it because it seemed to fit our touring itinerary nicely. So why did we plan a return visit on this trip? I guess it is because we simply had such fun the first time around. There is really nothing special about the restaurant itself. It doubles as fast food bulk loader for lunch, but there is something special about this character meal that isn’t any one thing but really a lot of little things. The wait staff never seemed to be in a rush although the restaurant was obviously busy. Our server did not seem to be put out over a request for more juice or a clean fork after our four-year dropped his on the floor. The servers were even willing to take a family photo or as we witnessed during this last visit make a special event out of a birthday. Not just a quick rendition of Happy Birthday sung by a couple of the wait staff, but all the characters there with Goofy trying to squeeze into the already full booth with the birthday girl. In the final analysis I guess it was more than scrambled eggs and pancakes we were looking for while on vacation and the staff on this morning really delivered.

Donald’s Restaurantosaurus is located in Dinoland in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Characters include Donald, Goofy, Mickey, and Pluto.
All you can eat breakfast buffet from 8am – 10:30am.
Theme Park admission required.
