Packing for Your Walt Disney World®
Vacation
Simple suggestions that could save you some serious money
The reservations have been made for your
Walt Disney World®
vacation and
now you are turning your attention to what you will need to bring with
you. You have taken the time to carefully think through what you will pack
and have probably written a very detailed list, so as not to forget
anything.
If this is true for you then you may want to skip right on down
to the restaurant review or trivia contest. But, if you are like most
people and start thinking and packing all in the same motion, not unlike
checking a mental grocery list while pushing the cart up and down the
aisles, then you may want to read on a little further.

The fact that we were staying at Disney's Grand Floridian
Resort & Spa, which is the Flag Ship Resort at Walt Disney World®,
seemed to mandate a special dining experience.
With three magnificent fine dining restaurants all located within
this Grand Victorian 19th century styled ocean resort our decision
would not be easy.
Narcoossee’s with its market evoked cuisine with innovative
offerings of seafood, meats and vegetarian dishes was certainly in
the running. Victoria & Albert’s the elite and elegant
restaurant that serves as the resort’s retreat for world-class
dining would be a certain memory maker. And there was Citricos
with its European ambiance and South of France inspired cuisine.
So which of these great restaurants did we choose?

choose a breakfast, lunch or dinner as your table service meal. Go
as far as to research the menu of any restaurant that you are
considering
Be sure to utilize all of your Disney Dining Plan before the end of
your vacation, because what you don’t use you lose
The basic dining plan allows for some
flexibility, in that one table service meal may be exchanged for one
character dining experience. You may also exchange TWO table service
meals for ONE "signature dining experience" at one of WDW's best
restaurants, such as California Grill. You could also exchange TWO
table service meals for one Disney dinner show, such as the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.
