Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Walt Disney World®
Resort
For those who
enjoy visiting the great lodges of our National Parks, Disney’s
Wilderness Lodge will remind you of these wonderful lodges with their
soaring ceilings and log construction. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
resembles the famous Yellowstone Lodge located in our first National Park.
The lobby ceilings soar toward the sky giving the allusion of even greater
height.

Lunch
Just Around the Corner
It was just a little before noon when the cast member that was checking us
in at Disney's Contemporary Resort informed us that our rooms were
not quite ready. As we stepped away from the front desk and contemplated our
options, we found that lunch was at the top of the list of considerations.
Disney's Contemporary Resort is really ideally located when it
comes to choices of restaurants for lunch. A simple monorail ride will
afford a hungry guest of no less than a half dozen or more full service
restaurants to choose from. This does not even take into consideration
Epcot®,
which for the minimal additional effort of transferring to a second monorail
you have all of the World Showcase restaurants to choose from. We
decided we would leave Epcot®
for another day and focused on our immediate horizon, which still left us
with choices that ranged from a simple sandwich to a full course meal with
characters.
So where did we end up eating? For the answer to that question and a peek at
the menu

Trivia Contest
Announcement |
Beginning in October 2006,
we will combine our 10 Week Web Site Trivia Contest with our
Bi-Monthly Newsletter Trivia Contest.
In each Bi-Monthly issue of our newsletter we post a trivia
question and have a drawing to win a copy of one of the
Passporter books.
Starting with the first issue in October, each trivia entry
with the correct answer to the bi-weekly contest will be
entered into a quarterly drawing to win a 2 night stay at
Walt Disney World in Orlando! Our first drawing will be at
the end of December.
With this new format, there's no returning to the site each
week to find the question, no questions to keep up with for
10 weeks and the questions will be mailed to subscribers in
our newsletter.
All you have to do is subscribe to the newsletter, submit
correct answers, and you will be entered into the drawing
each quarter for a chance to win 2 nights at Walt Disney
World. That 4 drawings a year and 4 chances to win a stay at
the most magical place on earth! |
