Just Around the Corner
It was just a little before noon when the cast member that was
checking us in at Disney's Contemporary Resort informed us that our rooms
were not quite ready. As we stepped away from the front desk and
contemplated our options, we found that lunch was at the top of the
list of considerations.
Disney's Contemporary Resort is really ideally located when it comes to
choices of restaurants for lunch. A simple monorail ride will afford
a hungry guest of no less than a half dozen or more full service
restaurants to choose from. This does not even take into
consideration Epcot®, which for the minimal additional effort of
transferring to a second monorail you have all of the World Showcase
restaurants to choose from. We decided we would leave Epcot for
another day and focused on our immediate horizon, which still left
us with choices that ranged from a simple sandwich to a full course
meal with characters.
