Extra Magic Hours

Each day one of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks open an hour early or will stay open up to three hours after regular park closing, so guests staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels or the Swan & Dolphin Resorts, Shades of Green, and the Hilton at Lake Buena Vista can enjoy easy access to select attractions.

With Extra Magic Hours, you can make the most of your vacation time and see and do everything at an easy, relaxed pace.

If you want to take advantage of this benefit Resort Guest will need a valid theme park admission. If your admission ticket is a Magic Your Way Base Ticket, your Theme Park selection must be the Park offering the Extra Magic Hours benefit that day. Remember, you can only visit one Theme Park per day with the Magic Your Way Base Ticket.

What is the Secret Handshake?
For Extra Hours in the morning at the participating theme park you will need to present a valid Key to the World Card at the park's turnstiles.

For Extra Magic Hours in the evening at the participating theme park guests wishing to enjoy Evening Extra Magic Hours should obtain a wristband at the theme park by presenting a valid Key to the World Card no sooner than two hours prior to Park close.

Things to Know Before You Go

• Please note: the specific dates are subject to change.
• For Evening Extra Magic Hours - you must obtain a wristband in order to stay in the park beyond the General Public Closing time. The wristbands can be obtained at the following locations (within 2 hours prior to regular park closing).
• The "Extra Magic Morning Hours" will be one hour prior to the regularly scheduled park opening hours on specific dates.
• The "Extra Magic Evening Hours" will extend park hours at a selected theme park 3 hours in the evening beyond the regular park closing.

Guests of Disney Resorts (which also includes the Swan & Dolphin Resorts, Shades of Green, and the Hilton at Lake Buena Vista), can have extra time in the parks.
