Climate
In
Polynesia, the temperatures and
the weather are pleasant the
whole year round; nevertheless,
the rainy periods are
predominant and long. The period
from November till April
corresponds to the rainy season,
there are violent but
shortshowers. The humidity can
make the heat hardly bearable.
From mid-April to mid-October,
temperatures are slightly cooler
( excellent period). Trade winds
blow in July / August and from
November till February.

The temperature of the sea
varies between 71,6 °F and 79°F
(22/26 °C). The sea is always
extraordinarily clear and is
particularly pleasant the whole
year round ; the sea is still
warmer in the lagoons and on the
beaches sheltered behind the
coral reefs.
