- Catamaran trip on the island of
Saona (one day) Excursion recommended by our Discovery
excursions office. At Bayahibe, we board the catamaran and head for the
island of Saona in the Natural Park of Este. Our crew promise you some
great moments of fun and relaxation. Stretch out on the nets and drowse
to the rhythm of the waves of the Caribbean, or come dance a Bachata and
Merengue with us... We will drop anchor at a dream mooring for a buffet
lunch beneath the coconut trees. Spend a lazy afternoon as we sail you

excursion (half-day) Discovery of the country through its flora
and fauna (on foot, by bike)
- Discovery (half-day) We
invite you to discover the Dominican countryside by 4-wheeled drive and
accompanied by our best guides. From sugar cane plantations to small
village schools, you will explore the colourful daily life of
Dominicans. Christian, an authentic Caballero, welcomes us to his farm
filled with a thousand fragrances. Tasting of tropical fruits, coffee
and home-made hot chocolate. For your information

- Dolphin Island (half-day � à la
carte) Spend twenty minutes close to these magnificent and
mythical animals, dolphins, inside a marine enclosure.
- Dominican colours (one day)
Excursions recommended by our Discovery excursions office. Driving
through the sugar-cane plantations, we head for La Romana, a cigar
factory and local market... A trip down the Rio Chavon in an outboard
motor launch, a thrilling experience. After an appetizer on the river,
Chantal welcomes you to her seaboard villa for a delicious stop-off,
surely the finest address around for lobster and home-made rum. Stop for
a swim at Bayahibe beach on the way back. For your information

- Manati Park (half-day)
An ideal trip for families! A park full of exotic animals: pink
flamingos, tortoises, crocodiles, iguanas... A show inspired by the
Tainos Indians, shows featuring dolphins, parrots and horses (mid-day
snack is included). For your information

- Travel time: 30 minutes
- Marinarium (half-day � à la
carte) Discover the wonders of coral reefs and sea life with
this snorkelling cruise. In this protected zone, dive down and discover
two fascinating creatures: nurse sharks and sting rays. Then continue
the cruise along the coastline and cool down in the clear turquoise
waters of the natural swimming pool.
- Santo Domingo (one day)
Excursion recommended by our Discovery excursions office. The very first
New World capital, Santo Domingo is a city of contrasts that combines
the infinite wonders of a glorious past with the magic charm of modern
life in one of the greatest towns in the Caribbean. With our local guide
discover the treasures of the colonial district (Basilisk, Las Casas
museum, Alcazar de Colon, the Rue des Dames). Lunch at the restaurant
Napolitano located on the Malecon, free time then a scenic tour of the
modern city. For your information

- Star Cruise (half-day)
Discover the wonders of the Punta Cana coastline with a 400 HP outboard
motor launch. Laze around at Juanillo, a wonderful lagoon, with
appetizer cocktails, games and swimming. A little piece of paradise just
a few minutes away.
- The Indian Riviera (one day)
A wonderful adventure to the heart of the tropical forest, the natural
and imposing backdrop of the film Apocalypse Now. Walk around the little
village of Altos de Chavon, then we go down the Rio Chavon on board a
Yolera, including a canoe ride, opportunity to bathe and fly on a liana,
as you pretend to be Tarzan. Finally, lunch on the farm alongside the
water and a few moments of relaxation in this little corner of natural
beauty that you are unlikely to forget For your information

- Visit to Bavaro (half-day)
In �Plaza Bavaro�, small explanation on the manufacture of cigars and
tasting of the Mamajuana before some spare time to do your shopping. In
the souvenir boutiques, you will find rum, cigars, amber and Larimar
jewellery, and major Haitian paintings. Next, you will be able to make a
few purchases in the Palma Real shopping centre. For your information
