Explore new Cultures, open up to new worlds. Each
village is a starting point to explore the country's marvels. The
Discovery Centre offers a variety of excursions (extra cost) to discover
the country - registration on the premises, subject to availability. |

- Beach and snorkelling (1/2
day) Explore the ocean shore and discover the wonders of
nature while snorkelling and walking along the Peanut Island beach.
Along the way, an artificial lagoon for snorkelling awaits you,
where you can discover the creatures of the sea at close quarters.
For history enthusiasts, the Palm Beach maritime museum and the
Kennedy Bomb Shelter will transport you back in time. A guide will
accompany you throughout the trip.
- Billies Safari in the
Everglades (1 day) In the Big Cypress reserve, about 809
hectares of wild nature await the explorer's visit. Take a trek on a
swamp buggy and discover the Sam Jones path. During the trip it is
not unusual to glimpse deer, boars, alligators and buffalo. Or
perhaps you prefer a more peaceful exploration of the Everglades by
canoe, or discovering the fascinating culture of the Seminole
Indians in a reconstruction of one of their camps. And you can
always spend a few hours gliding through the Everglades at top
speed, among the crocodiles and wild nature, on board an airboat.
- Boat trip in deckchair (à la
carte) Nothing beats the calming lapping sound of the waves
as you stretch comfortably on a deckchair. Enjoy all the scenes and
sounds of the Club Med in tranquillity from your private vessel at a
peaceful pace. The boat's 12-volt electrical system is enough for a
gentle sail, rocked by the soft Sandpiper breeze.
- Deep-sea fishing (1/2 day)
Spotted rose snapper, yellowtail, mutton snapper, rockfish, dogtooth
grouper, dusky grouper, barracuda and shark. Take a chance on the
deep blue waters, on a fishing boat of the Blue Heron Fishing Fleet,
for a fishing adventure on a sea of world renown.
- Fun Boat (à la carte)
Each boat is equipped with a water cannon and a 12-volt system -
ideal for a naval battle between friends or enemies. Perfect for
young and old. Two people per boat. A very safe way to have fun.
Passengers must wear the life jackets supplied.
- Garden Shopping Mall (1/2
day) The Gardens Mall offers 120,774 square metres of pure
joy to all keen window shoppers. Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales,
Macy�s and Nordstroms are just a few of the stores you will find in
this world-famous destination, always a favourite with Club Med's
visitors.
- Guided visit in sea scooter
(2 hours) Enjoy a thrilling trip on the St Lucie river on
board our sensational Yamaha VX110 Sport Waverunner jet ski. Our
guide will take you along the river for a memorable journey that few
tourists can boast. Safe and easy to handle.
- Guided visit in Triumph
Sport boat (2 hours) Our guide will take you along the
river for an unforgettable journey that few tourists can boast. The
boat is extremely safe and easy to handle.
- Guided visit of the fauna
and flora at sunset (1 h) a refreshing drink at the Sandbar
and come on an excursion down the Ste Lucie River 19th century
style, on board a genuine Mississippi steamer. During the gentle
cruise, the flora and fauna of Florida will always be visible.
Osprey, great egrets, reef egrets, wood stork and ibis are among
some of the species that you can see. And then, depending on the
season, you may be lucky enough to see manatees, river otters and
even dolphins.
- Kennedy Space Center (1 day)
Your holiday in Florida would not be complete without a trip to the
Kennedy Space Center, the only place in the world where you can
visit the launchpad, meet an astronaut, encounter the giant space
shuttles, try out a flight simulator and even watch a launch.
- Nature tourism by kayak (2
hours) Drift nonchalantly along the St Lucie river for an
impressive kayak tour surrounded by nature. The delicate complexity
and various fascinating aspects of the natural environment are
explained during the trip by your personal guide.
- Orlando theme park (1 day)
If you travel to Florida, you mustn't miss Orlando. Take your
children to one of the largest theme parks in the world, such as
Disney�s Magic Kingdom, Universal Studio, Epcot or Sea World, among
others. Escape to a place where imagination and youth are in charge.
