Seven Seas Voyager
Sailing Dates:
The Seven Seas Voyager is the natural
continuation and ultimate extension of a theme that Radisson Seven Seas
embarked upon more than a decade ago with its first ship, the Radisson
Diamond. And that theme is providing a superbly satisfying cruise experience
for those who seek adventure while also enjoying all the comforts and
personal service of a six-star cruise ship. With the advent of new materials
and technologies, this theme has evolved far beyond anything we could have
originally envisioned. The Seven Seas Voyager is not only our newest ship;
it is our second vessel to offer all-suite, all-balcony accommodations (the
first was our Seven Seas Mariner).
Activities
With one of the highest space ratios at sea,
Seven Seas Voyager offers an unusual array of pleasurable pastimes -
including some activities rarely available even in the finest resorts on
land. Contract Bridge, for example, complimentary computer classes, art
auctions and classes in ballroom dancing. However, to do or not to do is up
to you.On each voyage, a guest
lecturer drawn from the highest ranks of the Diplomatic Service, leading
universities or museums presents informal talks or slide shows about the
unique places you'll be visiting. Learn about the Incas of Peru on a South
America cruise, for example, or a lecture on Renaissance Florence on a
voyage around Italy.
Bridge Masters & Computer Classes: Guests who
prefer to take a cyberpath to enlightenment will find at least 14 computers
in the Club.com, 4 computers in the Internet Caf?, and both color and laser
printers, all available for a nominal charge. Free computer classes include
Introduction to E-mail and Advanced Word Processing and Digital Photography
may also be available. Or if bridge is your game, a certified Master Bridge
instructor can teach you the fine art of contract or duplicate bridge in the
card room.
Le Cordon Bleu? Workshops: Our exclusive Le
Cordon Bleu Class Culinaire is available on select sailings, a hands-on
experience taught by chefs trained in the Le Cordon Bleu method of classic
French cooking. There is a charge of $395 per guest for this exclusive
course.
Deck 12 is devoted to sports with golf cages,
shuffleboard, paddle tennis and a full-circle jogging track. One flight
down, the teak pool deck is one of the most expansive at sea, includes a
large heated pool, two whirlpools, table tennis, and a Pool Bar and Grill.
Additional options include art auctions and a
library well stocked with books, DVD's and assorted games. There are
duty-free boutiques and a Photo Shop with film and camera equipment. And
every afternoon, high tea accompanied by fresh scones and other delicacies
is served in the Horizon Lounge.
Dining
here are four open-seating main restaurants plus
the Pool Grill - a surprising number for a ship of her size! Waiters
recruited from some of the world's finest restaurants and hotels provide our
renowned "Above & Beyond" service. A choice of fine, complimentary wine is
poured nightly, or a professional sommelier will be pleased to discuss
alternatives available for purchase from the Seven Seas Voyager's wine
cellar. And if you prefer to dine en suite, you may order selections from
the chef's nightly menu during regular dining hours - while the room service
menu is available 24 hours a day.The
Seven Seas Voyager's largest restaurant is spacious and absolutely stunning.
Tables are arranged so that most guests have a picture window view, and
thanks to the handsome etched glass partitions, you'll feel like you're
dining in a much more intimate room. Menus include continental specialties
as well as vegetarian and spa cuisine.
Enjoy the cuisine of Le Cordon Bleu? of
Paris, undoubtedly the most famous cooking school in the world amid the
elegant atmosphere of Signatures with its white table lines, burgundy chairs
and the soft glow of candlelight. Choose a traditional French specialty such
as escargots or canard ? l'orange or select from the Menu du Monde featuring
cuisine from around the world, all prepared using the Cordon Bleu method.
This open-galley restaurant features menus
that have been artistically developed to celebrate the modern American
Palate. From the Great Northwest to California, Texas, Illinois, Florida,
New York and even Hawaii, Latitudes combines the finest regional wines and
specialties paired with carefully selected music. A most unique and
memorable dining experience!
The festive La Veranda is filled with the
light-hearted bonhomie you might find in a small trattoria or French
brasserie. Here you can enjoy an enticing mix of Mediterranean cuisine with
a North African influence. Stuffed aubergines, for example, or Lamb Tagine
with dried Figs and Almonds. La Veranda is also the venue for elaborate
breakfast and lunch buffets in a more casual atmosphere.
Entertainment
Seven Seas Voyager will also have a sumptuously
appointed spa under the aegis of Judith Jackson, one of the world's leading
practitioners of aromatherapy and other health promoting regimens.
Our Club Mariner Youth Program on selected
summer voyages, butler service in 88 suites and a host of other amenities
weren't even on the drawing boards just a few years ago. Come discover more
delightful and exciting surprises as luxury goes exploring aboard the Seven
Seas Voyager.
In the Constellation Theater, an expectant
hush gives way to applause as the curtain opens on a spectacular
performance. Dazzling Broadway musical revues are presented the
state-of-the-art, two-tiered show lounge with its full-size proscenium
stage. The dynamic production shows including Oh, What a Night, Broadway
Today and On a Classical Note were created by renowned producer Peter Grey
Terhune.
In the mood to gamble? Drop by the elegantly
appointed Casino, where croupiers deal the cards and announce the plays with
a savior-faire that would make James Bond green with envy. Gaming choices
include blackjack, mini-craps, roulette, video poker, and slot machines.
In the Voyager Lounge, happy groups gather
around the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail as the obliging pianoman renders
faithful versions of your favorite songs. It's only a few steps to the
Compass Rose Restaurant, so you may well linger awhile. Oh, yes, we didn't
forget about the dancing. Make your way back to the stunning Horizon Lounge
where a dance floor in the shape of a three-quarter moon overlooks the sea.
Settle into a comfortable English club chair
in the Connoisseur Club, and light up a hand-rolled cigar from the
climate-controlled humidor. Or watch for falling stars in the romantic
Observation Lounge accompanied by the grand piano or, perhaps, a cabaret
artist.
