Roaring Fork Snacks
Located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Guests can be seen filing in and out of
this early 19th century designed eatery, throughout the day helping
themselves to breakfast, lunch or dinner. In addition to finding
some “fixin’s” guests often pop in for a quick snack or to refill
their refillable souvenir mug with coffee or soda.
The relaxed atmosphere of this Disney resort is translated nicely in
this restaurant. The separate dining area and service area allows
guests to leisurely and comfortably enjoy their food.
Guest can further their fast food dining experience by simply
carrying their tray and selecting a table from the collection of
tables and chairs, which are and nestled comfortable in the
wonderfully landscaped courtyard located just outside.
Although there is a large selection of foods to choose from several
menu items are notable standouts. For lunch or dinner freshly
prepared hamburgers and hot dogs can be garnished from a tasty
selection of topping at the toppings bar.
Typically the lunch crowd is sparse with most guests still to be
found in the theme parks, so if you find yourself hungry and in
search of a noontime meal the Roaring Fork is a good bet.
If you have decided to make an early morning refueling stop on your
way to the theme parks here is a couple of useful tips.
Your best bet is to time your arrival for when the restaurant first
opens. The earlier the better, because the lines form fast and the
every family for themselves seating may require that you arm wrestle
a fellow guest for a table. If you are not an early riser try later
in the morning closer to the end of the breakfast service.
