This
moderately priced resort, which was formerly known as Dixie Landings, has
recently merged with it’s long time sister property Port Orleans.
The Riverside Resorts 2,048 rooms are divided between two distinctly
architecture and themed areas. The Alligator Bayou section are two story
buildings designed and themed to represent a backwoods or Cajun theme, while the
Magnolia Bend section is a series of two and three-story buildings that allow
for a Mississippi plantation theme. Both districts enjoy meticulously landscaped
grounds that only further add to the southern theming and overall enjoyment.
The
Alligator Bayou buildings have two distinct features worth noting when
considering selecting a room. One is that these rooms afford guests the optional
use of a trundle bed allowing for a fifth guest, if that guest is a child under
the age of nine or if the person is under five feet tall. Secondly it is
important to note that the Alligator Bayou buildings do not allow for an
elevator to access the second floor.

a mix of these views.
