Not ready to get behind the wheel but still crave the thrill? You can ride along as a passenger in a 2-seater as one of our professional driving instructors takes you up to 140 mph.
The Ride-Along Experience
If you’re not ready to get behind the wheel but still crave the thrill, ride shotgun for 3 high-speed laps!
Experience the thrill of NASCAR as a passenger in a 2-seater as one of our professional driving instructors takes you up to 165 mph. The associated cost is $99 plus tax.
Safety First
Before you put the pedal to the metal, you’ll receive in-car and on-track training from our experienced instructors.
Follow an instructor’s car and watch for a flagman’s signals as you drive. At the end of your experience, you’ll “graduate” and receive a printout of your performance on each lap.
Exotic Supercars
Ride shotgun or take the wheel of supercars by Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi and Porsche on the Exotics Course.
Exotics Driving Experience
Guests 18 years of age and up can drive 6 or 10 laps around the 1-mile circuit. Reservations required.
Exotics Thrill Ride
Led by a professional driver, 2-lap thrill rides are available to Guests 14 years of age and up, who ride shotgun. Walk-up basis only.
Selection of exotic supercars changes daily.
Know Before You Go

- The Richard Petty Driving Experience operates most days but may be closed due to inclement weather, testing or private events.
- Reservations are not required for Ride-Alongs, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis and begin one hour after the start of the day’s first driving class.
- You must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license to drive, and be 6 years of age or older to ride.
- Closed-toe shoes are required. You will be wearing a jumpsuit over your street clothes, so please dress with that in mind.
- The Walt Disney World Speedway is located just past the Magic Kingdom toll plaza on the left.
Complimentary parking is available at the Speedway Infield. A complimentary shuttle is also available, departing from the Lost and Found at the Ticket and Transportation Center.
