Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
& Campground
Style and Comfort In The Great Outdoors
This Walt Disney Resort was opened in November 1971 and has been providing
Disney guests a chance to “rough it in style” ever since. The over 700 hundred
acres found on the edge of Bay Lake is centrally located with easy access to all
the action. After a day at the theme parks guests can relax among the pine and
cypress trees with only an occasional visit from one of the many rabbits, ducks,
deer or peacocks that roam throughout the resort. |

Enjoy magic from dawn to dusk at the only campground
at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Make yourself at home in an air-conditioned
cabin, or stay in secluded campsites for tents and all types of RVs. Hike
winding paths, explore nature trails on horseback and have the time of your life
in the great outdoors among hundreds of acres of natural beauty.
Nestled in a serene forest, Disney's Wilderness
Cabins offer a quaint, relaxing escape in surroundings that capture the timeless
beauty of pioneer days. Special accents include vaulted ceilings and a private
deck. And a real back-to-nature experience, campsites are available for travel
trailers, motorhomes and tents.
