New Details Revealed for Dining Locations at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

A few months ago, we shared updates for some of the common areas at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World® Resort. Today we have more exciting news about two dining locations.

When the reimagining of Old Port Royale is complete in just a few months, the former Shutters table-service restaurant will open in an all-new location as Sebastian’s Bistro!

Located along the Old Port Royale waterfront, Sebastian’s Bistro will feature beautiful views, warm island hospitality and a menu that blends Latin and Caribbean flavors from market-fresh ingredients.

When you arrive at the casual, family-friendly restaurant, they’ll be welcomed by a blue shiplap marquee featuring everyone’s favorite red crustacean. And inside, Guests will feel as though they’ve just stepped into a tropical beachfront home.

Every detail celebrates the natural beauty of the Caribbean – from coral patterns and kelp filigree, to lure-inspired art and nautical designs. You may even notice abstract artwork and landscapes featuring Sebastian and friends.

We’re also excited to give you a look at the resort’s quick-service dining location, Centertown Market.

As previously shared, Centertown Market will be expanded to create an indoor street market vibe.

You will enter the space under a large palapa-like structure, accented with glowing, colored light pendants made from glass bottles. The market will feature open shutters, wooden light posts, awnings, ornamentation and unique seating areas. Guests will also have access to the Grab n’ Go market for specialty coffee and quick bites.

Stay tuned for more details!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

A tropical paradise built around 45-acre Barefoot Bay, this Resort hotel brings the Islands to you with swaying palm trees, white-sand beaches and colonial architecture. Six villages—Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba and Jamaica—host colorful Guest rooms, some pirate-themed! “Island-hop” as you explore 200 lushly landscaped acres, or simply enjoy lazy days soaking up the sun in a hammock.

At Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, there are six leisure pools – one in each village – that offer a tranquil environment for a swim or lounging the day away in the sun. But the pool that takes the cake here is the Fuentes del Morro Pool: a zero-entry pool themed like a colonial Spanish fortress. There are two waterslides and water cannons that let kids spray water! There is a shipwreck play area where little ones can play on mini slides and in an interactive water play area.

Numerous family-friendly activities are available such as bike rentals, volleyball, fishing, and movies under the stars. For children ages 4 to 12, they can set sail on a Pirate Adventure Cruise following clues to find a hidden treasure!

Although this resort is currently undergoing refurbishments, there are two quick service dining options. Old Port Royale Food Court is open for breakfast and lunch offering everyone’s favorite Mickey waffles, French toast, cheeseburgers, smoothies, and more!

Banana Cabana Pool Bar offers delicious specialty drinks poolside such as the Captain’s Mai Tai, beer, wine, sangria, and a full bar.

Complimentary bus transportation to and from all Disney theme parks and water parks is available. Buses also run to Downtown Disney area and Disney′s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course. Internal buses also shuttle between the 6 villages.

Immerse yourself in this resort hotel as it brings you some of the best the Caribbean has to offer – swaying palm trees, soft beaches, and colonial architecture. More Guest Experiences and Dining Options Coming to Disney’s Coronado Springs and Caribbean Beach Resorts

More Guest Experiences and Dining Options Coming to Disney’s Coronado Springs and Caribbean Beach Resorts

Whenever it’s time to share exciting news about a new expansion project, I remember one of my favorite Walt Disney quotes. “We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

Today, we are thrilled to share with you that changes are on the horizon at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort over the next two years and let me tell you, there is a lot to be excited about!

The expansion at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will include a new 15-story tower that will add 500 rooms, featuring suites and concierge level services. The resort will also refurbish its current resort rooms and transform its landscape with floating gardens and an island oasis that connects the resort through a series of bridges.

The new tower overlooking Lago Dorado, the resort’s centerpiece lake, will allow guests to experience something truly unique, rooftop dining with panoramic views of popular nighttime fireworks from nearby Disney theme parks.

Also during this exciting time, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be reimagined with new additions to the resort’s current marketplace, Centertown, including new waterfront dining and retail shopping areas. This centralized location will offer the resort’s guests more convenient access to services, amenities and dining.

At Walt Disney World Resort, many of our guest’s magical memories start at one of Disney’s 27-themed resorts each and every day, which is why we will always continue to “move forward” and “create new experiences” that are integral to the overall resort experience!

We can’t wait to share more with you as these projects come to life!
